There’s nothing quite like the sound of leather hitting willow in the summer, but if your schedule doesn’t allow for you to watch every cricket match, you can download the Sky Sports Live Cricket app for the iPhone to keep up to date with scores wherever you are.

You can track international Test, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 matches with the application.

The tabs along the bottom allow you to view league tables, fixtures and scores.

To view more information about a fixture, simply tap on it from the homescreen and you can view a match summary.

To track a particular match, enter the fixtures list and tap on the ‘+’ icon next to any of the fixtures. This will then be added to the My Scores section.

Not only can you view the results of each match, but also there’s a scrolling ticker along the bottom of the screen that displays all the latest cricket news, whatever screen you’re on.

There aren’t any push notifications on this app, which is a little disappointing considering most other sports results applications now include them with their latest updates.
