A handset known as the Garmin ASUS M10 has been spotted available to pre-order in Taiwan, sporting the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 version of Redmond's OS.
The page on ASUS' website confirms that the touchscreen handset will feature a 3.5-inch WVGA (800x480 pixel) display, 5-megapixel camera, and microSD expansion slot.
Under the bonnet there's 512MB of RAM and ROM, and a 600Mhz Qualcomm processor, powering the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system. It's not the most powerful we've come across certainly, but it should be more than enough to keep most handsets running smoothly.
The phone is on pre-order at TWD13,900, which is about £270 (before taxes presumably) and reportedly comes with the choice of either an in-car holster, or a spare 1,500mAh battery.
We're not sure if these additions will make it to the European version of the handset - we've still yet to have confirmation that the M10 will be coming to Europe at all - but we're expecting to find out more about the Garmin-ASUS pairing in Barcelona next month.
