Camiloo is all set to release a new iPhone app called Rewatch, which plugs into the BBC iPlayer service. It’ll eventually also support – and be optimised for – the Apple iPad once it’s released.
Rewatch is a third party application that will let you download the iPlayer’s selection of programmes, which are available a week after they are originally broadcast. You can also stream radio and television channels and watch for any tweets being made about the programmes you’re viewing.
Apple’s submission team is currently assessing Rewatch so we just have to hope that the app’s unofficial nature doesn’t flag up any issues. If all does well, Rewatch will go on sale for £1.19 soon.
