Get iTunes-like Coverflow on your iPhone’s dock with Overflow jailbreak

A new tweak in the iOS Overflow jailbreak adds Coverflow to iPhone/iPad dock, illustrating yet another reason to jailbreak your device

Fancy getting Coverflow functionality on your iPhone or iPad’s dock? Well now you can thanks to a new tweak in Adam Bell's Overflow jailbreak for iOS.

News of the tweak comes via 9to5Mac, which reports that the ‘jailbreak-only adjustment brings the Cover Flow effect (like swiping through album covers when rotating the iPhone) to the iOS home screen’s application dock.’

Used in conjunction with Chpwn’s Infinidock, the Coverflow tweak allows users to store literally of hundreds of applications on their iOS dock, which usually only houses four at a time.

Bell’s Coverflow tweak costs just $0.99 in the Cydia store and will work on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Now we know Android users take this kind of functionality for granted. But on Apple’s iOS platform it’s not every day that you get a mod that allows you to change the UI of your device, hence our general excitement about this cool little tweak.

Here’s a video of the feature in action:
