Trixcell has gained global distribution deals for its range of six mobile magic tricks

Trixcell has secured global distribution for its range of magic trick applications for Java-capable phones. There are currently six tricks in the range, and they're designed so that you actually ‘perform' them to friends, or indeed strangers, using your mobile. Currently available are:
- Spoon! - Based on cutlery-bending
- digiWallet - Make a coin on your phone materialise in real life
- Ticker- Control time by manipulating an on-screen clock
- 3 Cups - The classic street trick on your mobile
- CardOmen - A psychic-seeming card trick
- Pyro - Blow into your phone to make candles go out
Yes, these tricks are as cheesy as anything, but the presentation is better than you might expect, especially considering these are just Java applications.
They basically involve learning a series of actions to make it look like you're Derren Brown's apprentice, but then isn't that what any magic trick's about when you get to its core?
You can buy Trixcell tricks from Orange in the UK, or from Jamster, where they're labelled ‘Mobile Magic'.
