Disney praises the iPad

Bob Iger, CEO of the Disney Corporation, has hailed the iPad as something of a “game-changer” – a statement, which probably has nothing to do with the fact that Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs is the single biggest shareholder in Disney.
The iPad, as we all know, seems to be catching on rather fast and Disney, never ones to miss a trick, has confirmed its interest in the device for distributing both its films and television shows.
According to Mobile Entertainment, Iger and Jobs had discussions about the iPad during their last conference call.
Mobile Entertainment has the Disney CEO down as saying:
“Steve and I talk about a lot of things as it relates to digital media, and we don’t agree on everything, but we do agree that the iPad is a game changer.”
Whether or not the average iPad user will be interested in the latest instalments of the Jonas Brothers’ bizarre existence and The Hannah Montana Show, though, is a different matter entirely…
