All the Samsung Galaxy S4 prices and tariffs

The Samsung Galaxy S4, arguably the biggest Android launch of the year, gets its UK release date today. Priced at around £579.99 SIM-free, the Galaxy S4 feature a larger 4.99-inch 1080p display, Android 4.2.2, and Qualcomm’s uber powerful Snapdragon 600 processor.

The Galaxy S4 comes LTE-ready and packed full of unique software that’s designed to make your life easier and healthier. S-Health, a built-in IR blaster, and contactless navigation and preview are but a few of the Galaxy S4’s USPs.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 launches in the UK today, and you can get it from the following places.

Vodafone

Vodafone has the Galaxy S4 available on three tariffs, the cheapest of which will set you back £37 a month over 24 months. The handset is LTE-ready, so as soon as Vodafone’s 4G network goes live [apparently that’s happening in Q3] you’ll have access to super-fast mobile data.

Vodafone is stocking the 16GB Galaxy S4 in both Black and White and is offering unlimited calls and texts on all three tariffs. With data you have three options: 1GB on the £37-a-month tariff, 4GB on the £47, and 2GB on the £42 deal.

EE

The UK’s first 4G network has the Galaxy S4 available on a variety of tariffs starting at £31 a month and going up to £76. None of the deals get you the handset free, however, so if you go low with EE you’ll be forced to cough up £269.99 for the handset as well as pay £31 a month for 24 months.

It sounds expensive – and it is. EE says its best value tariff is the £41 a month deal which gets you 1GB of data, unlimited calls and texts. You will have to pay £79.99 for the handset, however, and like Vodafone there’s no option for a 32GB model.

The Galaxy S4 is also available on a 12 month contract from EE at the following prices:

O2

Available across 12 tariffs and shipping 4G-ready, O2’s Galaxy S4 comes with unlimited calls and texts and a variety of data bundles. Prices start at £22 a month for 24 months and conclude at £52 a month. Opt for the cheapest deal and you’ll have to fork out £399.99 for the handset. The handset can be hand for free on several tariffs, however, although they are more costly as you can see below.

Three

Keeping things nice and simple, as well as offering unlimited data, Three’s Galaxy S4 deals, compared to O2 and Vodafone’s offerings, look very attractive indeed.

The network hasn’t confirmed when its 4G rollout is happening but it does say it won’t be charging a premium for the service once it does. Whether that means unlimited 4G data, however, remains to be seen. Three and Virgin Media are the only UK networks to offer unlimited 3G plans.

Virgin

Available for £31 a month with an upfront cost of £99, Virgin’s Galaxy S4 tariffs are split up into three types: Starter [cheapest], Essential [mid-tier], and Premiere [costly].

Virgin’s Galaxy S4 is 4G ready but the network, powered by EE, has yet to confirm whether or not it will be offering LTE services. The network’s Premiere package also comes with unlimited data.

Tesco Mobile

On Tesco’s Tesco Mobile network customers can grab the phone with no upfront cost for as little as £30 per month on a 24 month contract. This deal will also net you 250 minutes, 5,000 texts and 500MB of mobile data per month.

Paying £35 per month improves the deal with 750 minutes and 1GB of internet data, £40 per month gives 1,500 minutes and 2GB of data and £45 gives 3,000 minutes and 3GB of data.

Tesco also revealed it is offering a new contract model exclusively with the Galaxy S4, known as the Anytime Upgrade tariff. The Anytime tariff echoes O2’s Refresh deal announced earlier this month, which means a user will have separate airtime and handset tariffs allowing them to upgrade to a new phone any time they wish simply by paying off the remaining handset cost.

Expansys

SIM-free and 4G-ready, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is priced at £579.99 direct from Expansys. The online retailer also has a large selection of Galaxy S4 accessories. Hit up the link for more details.

Clove

SIM-free with LTE: £579.99. Click here for more details.

i am really excited for this phone especially because i am now doing a side business for it. I hope the contract 24 moth deals are not too much.
But its going to be a awesome phone!

The announcement is in a few hours and I can’t wait to see what new features are included in the new Samsung Galaxy S4 that will compete with the HTC One, LG Optimus G Pro, and the iPhone 5. Out of all the rumored features, I’m most excited for the 1080p display that almost all flagship phones are coming out with these days. Throughout the commute to and from work at DISH, I like to stream my live and recorded shows on my phone, since it takes some time getting there. I like using the DISH Anywhere app to stream from my DVR wherever I go, and I’d like a higher resolution display to watch them on.

Dude I know this phone is awesome I have seen the features it beat every phone even the htc one and anyday iPhone 5 and I think this phone should be priced around $550-625. If Samsung puts a price tag like that then this phone will be the best phone in the history of technology. I hope Samsung puts a price of 650 max or many people won't exactly go for this phone. I think I spoke too much :p ........
