Sending files via Bluetooth
To send a file via Bluetooth - for example a picture, video clip or Phonebook entry – first select the file you want to send, then follow these steps:
- Click Menu (The [–] button).
- To send a photo, picture, video clip or sound file, scroll down to Copy and click Select (Figure 1). To send a Phonebook entry scroll down to Share Phonebook (Figure 2) and to send a Datebook entry or Internet bookmark, scroll down to Send (Figure 3).
- Then select [Look for devices] to find the destination phone or computer (Figures 4 & 5).
- Your phone will then send the file (Figure 6).
Receiving files via Bluetooth
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Motorola V3i (See above) then:
- On the Menu screen click Bluetooth Link (Figure 7).
- Select Hands-free and then [Look for devices] (Figure 8). Your Motorola will then search for the device sending the file.
- Press Accept to receive the file (Figure 9). A screen will then notify you when the transfer is complete (Figure 10).
- To save the file, select Save and choose where you want to save it (Figure 11).

Once you have selected your chosen phonebook entrant scroll down to Copy and click Select
