Marketing material clearly showing the upcoming launch of the Qwerty equipped 8520 handset has been spotted online ahead of official announcement of the device.
We've known for a while now that the 3G-less business phone is set for a release early next month on T-Mobile in North America, but we've not had any official confirmation of carriers here in the UK up until now.
The handset is clearly designed to be an entry-level device aimed at business users on a budget, indeed, the blurb on the image that surfaced at Crackberry.com proclaims, “A priceless business tool at an affordable price.”
We've already mentioned that the smartphone comes without the high-speed 3G internet connectivity, but it will come offering Wi-Fi options as well as dedicated media controls and redesigned navigation that sees a trackpad in place of the traditional trackball.
The 8520 also features a 2-megapixel camera, although with no flash of any kind
At the time of going to press we've not had official confirmation from Vodafone on the authenticity of this information, pricing or availability details.
