Skyhook CEO lets slip about Xperia X2

The CEO of Skyhook has inadvertently confirmed that a new Sony Ericsson Xperia device is on the way

We could soon be seeing a second Windows Mobile device in the Xperia range, if comments from Skyhook's CEO are accurate.
The report over at WMPoweruser.com revealed that Skyhook, who provide geolocation-based software, have lost the contract on the Xperia X2 handset to Google, who provides mapping data for free. The comments came in an interview for Giga-om, directly from founder and CEO of Skyhook, Ted Morgan.
Morgan not only confirmed the device's existence, but also let slip that the Xperia X2 would run Windows Mobile rather than the much speculated-upon Google Android OS.
Naturally there's no official word on the device, but here's hoping this little leak may prompt the Sony Ericsson camp to rectify that situation.
