Nokia Symbian Belle confirmed for N8 and E7 smartphones
The Nokia Symbian Belle update line-up has expanded to include the N8 and E7 smartphones

Nokia’s Symbian Belle update premiered on the new 700 and 701 smartphones and since then fans of the platform have been anticipating a rollout on other devices – Nokia has now revealed its N8 and E7 smartphones are joining the list of handsets the company is preparing to update ‘soon’.
The N8 and E7 have joined the Nokia X7, E6, and 500 devices on the list of phones which will receive the Belle update at some point.
Nokia claims Belle will be rolled out before the end of the year but is still avoiding giving anything more concrete just now, presumably to give it time to iron out any creases before everything goes live.
With the Belle update Nokia is boasting a number of interface and functionality changes which are clearly designed to bring the system up to the level of contemporaries such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
These include faster and smoother web browsing, scalable live widgets, a drag-down notifications and control bar and six customisable home screens.
It also supports NFC hardware for touch-sharing of apps and information between devices and for remote payment through your Nokia phone.
