HTC One Mini arrives on Vodafone with 4G in tow
The HTC One Mini will launch on Vodafone, just in time for the network's 4G rollout
The HTC One Mini has arrived on Vodafone, just before the company's 4G services arrive.
The HTC One Mini will be available on Vodafone's new 4G tariffs and will be free on 24-month tariffs starting at £34 a month with unlimited texts and minutes plus 2GB data.
The HTC One Mini is also available on 3G tariffs for £29 per month, or for £380 SIM-free at Carphone Warehouse.
Vodafone and O2 will launch their 4G services on August 29, joining EE, which launched its 4G last October.
The HTC One Mini is already available for free on plans £31 a month, giving you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, but only 1GB data.
Vodafone's 4G service will be activated on August 29, but you are able to purchase the 4G-ready device from now, but you won't be able to use 4G until the services become active.
Vodafone's 4G will be available in London at launch, with more towns and cities getting a speed boost before the end of the year.
In contrast, EE's 4G is already available in almost 100 UK towns and cities.
The HTC One Mini looks almost exactly the same as the HTC One, save a plastic bumper around the edge and a smaller 4.3-inch screen. Some of the omissions include the NFC and IR blaster, but it's a decent device for a relatively low price.
