TL;DR
Verizon is offering up to $1,200 off the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo. The discount comes as monthly bill credits over 36 months, so you’ll need to keep a qualifying line and plan active to receive the full amount.
- iPhone 18 Pro: effectively $0 for the phone after all credits
- iPhone 18 Pro Max: $99.99 total, or about $2.78 a month
- iPhone Duo: $799.99 total, or about $22.22 a month
- To qualify: add a new line and use Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan. New customers need to port in a number.
- The catch: leave Verizon, pay off the phone early to leave, or switch to an ineligible plan, and your remaining credits stop.
Verizon is advertising up to $1,200 off Apple’s newest iPhones. That could make the iPhone 18 Pro effectively free, bring the $1,299.99 iPhone 18 Pro Max down to $99.99, and cut the $1,999.99 iPhone Duo to $799.99.
Those prices come with a catch, however, as you’d expect:
- Verizon spreads the discount across 36 monthly bill credits.
- You’ll need a qualifying new line and the Unlimited Ultimate plan,
- and you’ll need to stay eligible for the full three years to get every credit.
What you’ll pay for each iPhone
| Model | Retail price | Price after $1,200 in credits |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro | $1,199.99 | Effectively $0 |
| iPhone 18 Pro Max | $1,299.99 | $99.99 |
| iPhone Duo | $1,999.99 | $799.99 |
The offer doesn’t remove $1,200 from the price at checkout. Verizon applies the saving as credits of about $33.33 a month for 36 months.
The iPhone 18 Pro can be covered in full
At $1,199.99, the iPhone 18 Pro costs almost exactly the same as the maximum promotional credit. If you meet the offer terms and receive all 36 credits, the phone itself works out at effectively $0.
You’ll still pay for your Verizon plan, taxes and any applicable fees. The $0 price applies to the device after the full set of credits, not your overall bill.
You don’t have to pay $1,000+ for a new phone. Buying refurbished saves you, on average, 40% to 50%.
Which means you skip the inflationary price hikes, side-step the 2026 memory cost crisis, and still get the flagship performance and specs you want.
Recommended Options For 2026The iPhone 18 Pro Max costs about $2.78 a month
The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299.99. After the full $1,200 credit, you’re left paying $99.99 for the phone. Spread across 36 months, that’s about $2.78 a month.
The iPhone Duo drops to $799.99
Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo starts at $1,999.99. The Verizon credit brings the remaining device cost to $799.99, or roughly $22.22 a month over 36 months.
That’s still a lot to pay for a phone, but it’s a substantial reduction from the retail price.
You’re paying too much for data. Way too much.
Visible+ gives you unlimited premium data on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network, plus hotspot data and travel perks.

You don’t need to trade in your phone
The headline saving doesn’t require a trade-in. You can keep your current phone, sell it separately or pass it on to somebody else.
What you need to qualify
To receive the full promotion, you’ll need to meet Verizon’s eligibility requirements:
- Add a new line. New customers need to port in a number.
- Choose Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan.
- Keep the line and qualifying plan active for 36 months.
- Meet the device purchase and payment requirements shown by Verizon.
If you cancel the line, pay off the phone early to leave Verizon, or move to an ineligible plan, the remaining promotional credits stop. In practice, Verizon pays about $33.33 of the device cost each month while you keep meeting the terms.
Is Verizon’s iPhone deal worth it?
If you already want Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan and expect to stay for three years, this is a strong offer. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are especially cheap after the full credits.
If you prefer a cheaper plan or often switch carriers, work out the total cost over three years before signing up. A low device price may not save you money overall if the plan costs more than the service you’d otherwise choose.
