VISIBLE Plans Ranked: Prices, Coverage & Data Limits (2026)

Visible has three unlimited plans, all running on Verizon’s network and priced from $25 a month.

The choice looks simple. Pay more, get more.

But you probably don’t need the most expensive plan.

For most people, Visible+ is the one I’d get because it includes unlimited premium data, 5G Ultra Wideband, a faster unlimited hotspot and Canada and Mexico roaming for $35 a month.

Visible+ Pro is better for certain people, particularly smartwatch owners and frequent travelers. The standard Visible plan remains an excellent budget option, but its data can slow when Verizon’s network is busy.

Here’s how all three Visible plans compare, which one is best for you and what you gain or lose compared with joining Verizon directly.

These are limited-time promotions. The rankings below are based on the normal prices because those are what you will need to compare once any promotional period ends.

The short answer: Visible+ is the one I’d buy

Visible+ costs $35 a month and includes:

• Unlimited premium data
• Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband access
• Unlimited hotspot data at up to 10Mbps
• Up to 1080p video on 5G Ultra Wideband
• Canada and Mexico roaming
• One Global Pass day every month
• $15 a month off eligible Verizon Home Internet
• Taxes and fees included

It is only $10 more than the basic Visible plan, but removes the biggest concern associated with cheap prepaid service: data slowing when the network becomes congested.

The standard Visible plan can be temporarily deprioritized when Verizon’s network is busy. Visible+ cannot be slowed simply because you have used a certain amount of data or because premium customers are being placed ahead of you.

That makes Visible+ the safer option for your main phone.

At $35 a month, it is still cheaper than Verizon’s standard $45 Simplicity price, and considerably cheaper than Verizon’s older Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Ultimate plans.

What is Visible & How Does It Work?

Visible is a prepaid wireless carrier owned by Verizon; it’s an MVNO.

It does not build or operate a separate national network. Visible customers connect through Verizon’s 5G, 5G Ultra Wideband and 4G LTE infrastructure.

That means your coverage should broadly match Verizon’s coverage.

If Verizon provides a strong signal at your home, workplace and the places you regularly visit, Visible will ordinarily cover those places too. You will need a compatible phone, and certain 5G features require the correct US model and supported cellular bands.

You pay Visible directly for your service, usually monthly or annually. The price includes calls, texts, smartphone data, hotspot data, taxes and carrier fees.

There are no traditional service contracts and no physical Visible stores. You manage your plan, payments, SIM and support through the Visible app or website.

Visible plan comparison

1. Visible+: best for most people

Price: $35 a month or $375 annually
Current promotional price: $29 a month with SAVE6
Best for: Everyday users who want fast, dependable data without paying Verizon prices

Visible+ takes first place because it gives you the parts of a premium Verizon plan that matter most without stuffing the package with extras you may never use.

The headline feature is unlimited premium data.

Premium data means Visible will not place your connection behind standard-priority traffic when a tower becomes congested. This applies across Verizon’s regular 5G and 4G LTE networks, as well as its faster 5G Ultra Wideband network.

There is no 50GB premium-data threshold on the current Visible+ plan.

You can use 20GB, 100GB or more without being slowed merely because you crossed a monthly data allowance. Network management can still apply in cases of abnormal use, security problems or network faults, but there is no normal premium-data meter ticking down in the background.

Visible+ hotspot performance

Visible+ includes unlimited hotspot data at up to 10Mbps.

That is fast enough for:

• Email and web browsing
• Working in Google Docs
• Video calls
• Music streaming
• HD video on one device
• Downloading smaller files
• Connecting a tablet or laptop while traveling

It is not particularly fast for downloading large games, transferring huge work files or running several devices at once.

However, there is no monthly hotspot allowance to burn through. Verizon’s Simplicity plan includes 10GB of mobile hotspot data. Visible+ caps the speed instead of the amount you can use.

For someone who only needs a laptop connection occasionally, I prefer Visible’s approach.

Visible+ international features

Visible+ includes calls, texts and data while traveling in Canada and Mexico.

You receive 2GB of high-speed data per day. After using that allowance, data continues at a reduced speed for the remainder of the day.

You also get one Global Pass day each month for use in more than 140 supported countries and territories. Unused days can be carried over, subject to Visible’s limit.

It is not a full international phone plan, but it is useful for someone who takes one or two trips a year.

Who should buy Visible+?

Choose Visible+ if:

• Your phone is your main internet device
• You live or work in a busy city
• You attend concerts, sporting events or conventions
• You commute during peak hours
• You use your phone as a hotspot
• You visit Canada or Mexico
• You want HD video streaming
• You want the closest Visible equivalent to premium Verizon service

This is the plan I would recommend to most readers.

Verdict: The best balance of price, data priority and useful extras.

2. Visible: best cheap unlimited plan

Price: $25 a month or $275 annually
Current promotional price: $19 a month with SAVE6
Best for: Lighter users, secondary phones and anyone chasing the lowest possible bill

The standard Visible plan is cheap, simple and far better than the word “basic” makes it sound.

You get unlimited calls, texts, smartphone data and hotspot use for $25 a month. Taxes and carrier fees are already included.

It runs on Verizon’s 5G and 4G LTE networks and includes unlimited calls and texts from the US to Canada and Mexico.

The hotspot is limited to 5Mbps, while video streaming is capped at around 480p.

For messaging, browsing, social media, maps, email, Spotify and everyday app use, that is perfectly usable.

The problem with the standard Visible plan

The main drawback is network priority.

When a Verizon tower is busy, data on the standard Visible plan may become temporarily slower than premium traffic.

How much does that matter?

It depends entirely on where and when you use your phone.

If you live in an area with plenty of network capacity, you may rarely notice it. If you regularly use your phone at a packed railway station, football stadium or city center during rush hour, the difference could be obvious.

Both phones may display 5G and full signal bars, but the premium connection may load apps and websites much faster.

That does not mean the standard plan is constantly slow. It means performance is less predictable when the local network is under pressure.

Who should buy the standard Visible plan?

Choose Visible if:

• You want the lowest monthly price
• You mainly browse, message and use social media
• You spend much of the day connected to Wi-Fi
• You rarely use a hotspot
• You do not need HD mobile video
• You do not need international roaming
• You are buying service for a secondary phone
• Your local Verizon network is rarely congested

At $25 a month, it remains a very strong deal. At the promotional $19 price, it is ridiculous.

But for a primary phone, I would still pay the extra $10 for Visible+.

Verdict: Excellent value, provided you can live with possible congestion slowdowns.

3. Visible+ Pro: best for travel, hotspot and smartwatches

Price: $45 a month or $450 annually
Current promotional prices: $39 monthly with SAVE6, or $225 for the first annual term with SAVEHALF
Best for: Heavy hotspot users, frequent travelers and cellular smartwatch owners

Visible+ Pro is the best Visible plan on paper.

It ranks third because most people do not need everything it adds.

Like Visible+, Pro includes unlimited premium data across Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband, standard 5G and 4G LTE networks.

It then increases the hotspot speed to 15Mbps, raises video quality and adds better international support.

You get:

• Unlimited premium data
• Unlimited 15Mbps hotspot data
• Up to 4K video on 5G Ultra Wideband
• Up to 1080p video on regular 5G and LTE
• Smartwatch service included
• Canada and Mexico roaming
• 500 minutes of calls to more than 85 countries
• Unlimited texting to more than 200 countries
• Two Global Pass days each month
• Overnight device shipping

The smartwatch changes the calculation

Smartwatch service costs $10 a month on Visible and Visible+ but is included with Visible+ Pro.

That produces an interesting comparison:

• Visible+ with smartwatch service: $45 a month
• Visible+ Pro with smartwatch service: $45 a month

If you have a supported cellular Apple Watch, Google Pixel Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch, choosing Pro is obvious. You pay the same total amount and also receive the faster hotspot, higher video quality and added travel features.

Supported models currently include Apple Watch Series 4 and newer, Google Pixel Watch 2 and newer, plus selected recent Samsung Galaxy Watches. Check compatibility before switching because not every phone and watch combination is supported.

Is the faster hotspot worth paying for?

A 15Mbps hotspot is better for laptop work, video calls and streaming than the 5Mbps and 10Mbps limits on the cheaper plans.

It is still speed-capped.

If you need to download a 50GB game, back up hundreds of gigabytes or replace home broadband for a household, Visible+ Pro is not going to feel like fiber internet.

But for remote work, weekends away, hotel rooms and emergency home internet, it is very useful.

Who should buy Visible+ Pro?

Choose Visible+ Pro if:

• You own a supported cellular smartwatch
• You frequently use your phone as a hotspot
• You travel outside the US several times a year
• You call international numbers
• You want better mobile video quality
• You need two Global Pass days each month
• You can get the current $225 annual deal

At its normal $45 monthly price, Pro only makes sense if you use its extra features.

At $225 for the promotional annual plan, the calculation changes completely. That works out at $18.75 a month for the first year, cheaper than the normal standard Visible plan.

If that deal is still available when you read this, Pro becomes the best-value option for an eligible new customer.

Verdict: Too much plan for some people, but unbeatable for smartwatch users and excellent during the annual promotion.

How Visible compares with Verizon

Visible is owned by Verizon and runs on Verizon’s network, but they are not the same type of carrier.

Verizon is a conventional postpaid carrier with stores, family accounts, phone promotions, optional entertainment perks and wider support channels.

Visible is an online prepaid carrier built around lower prices and simpler plans.

Is Visible cheaper than Verizon?

Using standard prices, yes.

Verizon’s Simplicity plan normally costs $45 a month with Auto Pay, plus taxes and fees. New customers can currently reduce it to $30 a month using a $15 switching discount.

Visible’s normal monthly prices are:

• Visible: $25
• Visible+: $35
• Visible+ Pro: $45

That means Visible+ normally saves $10 a month before Verizon’s taxes and fees. The standard Visible plan saves $20 a month.

The current Verizon switching promotion complicates things. At $30 a month, Verizon Simplicity costs less than Visible+ and includes unlimited premium data, 5G Ultra Wideband, Canada and Mexico roaming, satellite texting and 10GB of hotspot data.

But the $30 price relies on a switching discount. Verizon’s standard Simplicity rate is $45. Visible also has its own introductory promotions.

Visible’s main benefits over Verizon

Lower normal prices

Visible’s standard prices range from $25 to $45 a month with taxes included.

Even its most expensive plan costs the same as Verizon’s normal Simplicity price before Verizon taxes and fees.

Unlimited hotspot data

Every Visible plan includes unlimited hotspot use.

Visible controls hotspot usage through speed limits rather than cutting off high-speed access after a fixed amount of data:

• 5Mbps on Visible
• 10Mbps on Visible+
• 15Mbps on Visible+ Pro

Verizon Simplicity includes 10GB of mobile hotspot data each month.

If you tether regularly, an unlimited speed-capped connection may be more useful than a faster connection with a small allowance.

Taxes and fees are included

The number on Visible’s plan page is the service price you pay.

You do not reach checkout and discover that the $35 plan is not really $35.

No Auto Pay requirement for the standard price

Visible’s normal advertised rate does not rely on Auto Pay.

Verizon’s $45 Simplicity rate assumes Auto Pay. Without it, you may pay more.

Easy single-line pricing

Visible does not punish you for joining alone.

You do not need three relatives, a partner, your neighbor and someone you met at work to create an affordable account.

One line costs the advertised amount.

No store visits or sales pitches

Everything happens online.

That is a drawback if you need face-to-face help, but a benefit if you prefer managing things yourself without someone trying to attach insurance, a tablet and four streaming services to your account.

Annual savings

Visible lets you pay for a full year upfront:

• Visible: $275
• Visible+: $375
• Visible+ Pro: $450

The normal Pro annual price reduces the effective monthly cost to $37.50. Its current $225 new-customer promotion cuts that to $18.75 for the first year.

Where Verizon is better

Physical stores

If something goes wrong, Verizon has stores where you can speak with a person.

Visible support is handled online. That keeps costs down, but can become frustrating during a difficult activation or number transfer.

Phone deals

Verizon tends to provide larger trade-in credits and more “free phone” promotions.

These deals commonly arrive as account credits spread over 36 months. Leave early, change to an ineligible plan or pay off the phone under the wrong terms, and you may lose the remaining credits.

Visible’s phone deals are usually simpler, but may not reduce the device price as much.

Family accounts

Verizon may work better for large households that want one account, one bill and parental controls.

Visible lines are managed more independently. That suits individuals and couples, but not every family.

Satellite features

Verizon Simplicity includes satellite texting for use outside normal cellular coverage on supported phones.

Visible does not currently present this as a standard plan feature.

Broader support

Verizon customers can use stores, telephone support, online chat and the My Verizon app.

Visible’s online-only model will not suit everyone.

Monthly or annual: which should you choose?

Start monthly.

Visible’s annual plans save money, but annual service payments are generally non-refundable after activation.

Paying $275, $375 or $450 upfront before testing the network is an unnecessary gamble.

Use Visible for at least one month and test it:

• At home
• At work
• During your commute
• Inside local shops
• In busy areas
• On your hotspot
• During the evening
• Anywhere your existing carrier struggles

If it works properly, move to an annual plan.

The exception is the current $225 Visible+ Pro annual deal. It is an unusually large discount. Even then, check the promotion’s refund rules, device compatibility and coverage before paying.

Can you bring your existing phone?

Yes, provided it is unlocked and compatible.

Visible supports many recent phones from Apple, Samsung, Google and Motorola. You should still check the exact model using Visible’s compatibility checker.

A phone can be sold as “unlocked” while lacking certain Verizon bands or carrier support. This is most common with imported Android phones and international variants.

An unlocked US iPhone, Galaxy or Pixel is ordinarily a safer choice.

With an eSIM-compatible phone, activation can take a matter of minutes. Visible can send a physical SIM if your phone does not support eSIM.

Can you keep your number?

Yes.

You will need:

• Your current carrier account number
• A number-transfer PIN
• An unlocked compatible phone
• An active current account

Do not cancel your existing service first.

Start the transfer through Visible and leave the old account active until your number has moved. Cancelling early can delay the transfer or cause you to lose the number.

Here is the final call.

Buy Visible+ if you want the best plan for most people

It has unlimited premium data, a usable 10Mbps hotspot and enough travel support for occasional trips.

At $35 a month, it gives you the best mix of price and performance.

Buy Visible if price matters more than network priority

The standard plan is ideal if you spend plenty of time on Wi-Fi, rarely use a hotspot and do not mind possible slowdowns in busy areas.

For $25 a month, it is hard to complain.

Buy Visible+ Pro if you own a smartwatch or travel regularly

The included smartwatch service makes Pro an easy choice for wearable users.

Its faster hotspot and two monthly Global Pass days also make sense for travelers and remote workers.

And if the $225 annual promotion is still available, buy Pro. At that price, the ranking goes out of the window. You are getting Visible’s best plan for less than the usual cost of its cheapest one.
