TL;DR: The iPhone Duo For $799.99? It’s Possible…
Verizon is offering up to $1,200 in bill credits toward the iPhone Duo, bringing its $1,999.99 retail price down to $799.99 over 36 months.
To qualify, you’ll need to add a new line and use Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan. New customers must port in their number. The credits arrive monthly, so you’ll need to stay eligible for the full 36 months to get the whole discount.
The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999.99, making it Apple’s most expensive iPhone. Verizon’s current promotion can cut that price by $1,200, leaving you with $799.99 to pay for the phone.
That’s a major saving, but it isn’t an instant discount at checkout. Verizon applies the $1,200 as monthly bill credits over three years, and you need to meet the offer terms throughout that period.
You don’t have to pay $1,000+ for a new phone. Buying refurbished saves you, on average, 40% to 50%.
Which means you skip the inflationary price hikes, side-step the 2026 memory cost crisis, and still get the flagship performance and specs you want.

The promotional credit is worth about $33.33 a month for 36 months. Once you’ve received all the credits, the $1,999.99 iPhone Duo costs $799.99:
| iPhone Duo price | Promotional credits | Cost after all credits |
|---|---|---|
| $1,999.99 | $1,200 | $799.99 |
Spread across 36 months, the remaining $799.99 works out to about $22.22 a month for the phone.
What you need to qualify
Verizon’s offer requires:
- A new line. Existing customers can add one; new customers must port in a number.
- Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan.
- The required device purchase or payment agreement.
- Keeping the line and qualifying plan active for 36 months.
Taxes and fees may apply. Check the current terms and price shown by Verizon before ordering.

What happens if you leave Verizon early?
The discount comes in monthly credits, so you won’t receive the full $1,200 upfront. If you cancel the line, switch to an ineligible plan or pay off the phone early to leave Verizon, the remaining credits stop.
That means the $799.99 price assumes you stay eligible for all 36 months. If you leave earlier, you’ll have received fewer credits and will owe more of the phone’s cost.
Is the deal worth it?
If you already want Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan and are happy to stay for three years, paying $799.99 for the iPhone Duo is a much better deal than paying its full $1,999.99 price.
If you’d normally choose a cheaper plan or change carriers often, compare the total cost over 36 months. The phone discount may not make up for paying more for service.
