Dexter for iPhone is looking as dark and disturbing as we'd hoped

Dexter, a game we initially became aware of back in February at Mobile World Congress, is nearing completion and should be available within the next few months.
Slide to Play spoke to the game’s developers at E3, who commented that the game is between 60 and 80 per cent complete. They also said that the game’s based on the original Showtime version of the show rather than the more sanitised, edited version broadcast by the CBS network. For non-US readers, this means we can look forward to an uncompromising game that doesn’t shy away from violence or colourful language.
Exactly what Apple’s approvals team will think of this approach remains to be seen, but we hope it gets through unscathed. Part of Dexter’s appeal is that it’s a dark and occasionally disturbing show, and with such faithful elements as voice acting from original Deter actor Michael C Hall, it’d be a pity to see the game diluted.
