BlackBerry App World comes to web

RIM has released a browser version of the BlackBerry App World, meaning that you can surf through its wares without using your BlackBerry, or even having one.

You can’t buy apps over this browser version of the store, you’ll have to load App World up on your BlackBerry to do so, but having the option to navigate through the few thousands apps available on the big screen is a blessing. You can view up to 100 apps per page, making it easy to skim through the App World’s more populated sections.

At the time of writing, the App World houses just over 2200 apps. Although it’s not near the figures that the Apple App Store and Android Market can boast of, the store has grown and developed over recent months, with notable improvements brought to the App World with the 1.1 update.
