Microsoft’s US market share has fallen 1.7 percent following the launch of Windows Phone 7.
According to Comscore, Android is the most popular operating system with 31.2 per cent of the market share, while Microsoft devices has fallen to 8 per cent.
The majority of this increase, reported in the three months up to January 2011, was down to the Black Friday and Christmas sales. During this period, Android’s share grew by 7.7 per cent.

We really like Windows hone 7 and have been impressed by the platform so far. Let’s hope Nokia’s attempts at Windows Phone 7 devices keep up the good work.
