ZTE has confirmed the ZTE Grand S2 at CES 2014.
The Grand S2 will feature touch-less voice commands although it’s not as far developed as the Moto X’s or Nexus 5’s Google Now features.
Users unlock the phone by saying “Hello, Grand S” and the device will be open for business. There’s even a way to take photos by saying “Cheese”.
According to Engadget, and now confirmed by ZTE, the specifications of the handset will include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front ffacing secondary. It will have 16GB of onboard storage and the chipset is a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, but there is still no word on the RAM.
We know the device will be shipping with Android 4.3 but ZTE has not yet commented on the possibility of an Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade.
What we also don’t know is how long we’ll have to wait to get our hands on the ZTE Grand S2, we will keep you posted once we know more though.
