Panasonic is releasing a 13-megapixel Lumix-branded smartphone and, according to a promotional site, there’ll be more news about it on October 5.
Reports have suggested that the Lumix smartphone could be packing a 13.2-megapixel camera – 1.2 whole megapixels bigger than the Nokia N8’s 12-megapixel monster.
Additional ‘rumoured’ specs include: a 3.3-inch LCD display, all housed in a 116 x 52 x 17.7mm case. The page also states that a microSD slot will be on board as well, according to Pocket-Lint.
No word on what OS it’ll be packing just yet though, but if we had to hazard a guess, we’d probably go with Android – but, there is a possibility it could be Windows Phone 7.
Looks like super-camera-phones are back in vogue!
