Nokia has announced the launch of the business-like E72, prompted by a leaked promo video.
The video was leaked on YouTube over the weekend, and the source was none other than the Official Nokia Conversations blog.
The official announcement pitched the E72, like its predecessor, as a full-Qwerty equipped smartphone with multiple email options available straight from the box.
Also on offer is the option of IM chat via the Nokia Messaging service and an updated version of QuickOffice, which both seem fairly staple functions for this particular meme nowadays.
Spec-wise there’s a 5-megapixel camera, A-GPS (with Nokia Maps), HSUPA/HSDPA connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an optical navigation key for easier surfing.
The E72 is scheduled for release in Q3, which is drawing awfully close now, and is due to go on sale for €350, about £295, SIM-free.
