Carphone Warehouse is listing the 3G-enabled Motorola Xoom for £599.99.
The Motorola Xoom, according to Carphone Warehouse’s site, is set for an early-April release date.
But don’t worry too much about the gigantic price tag because you will get a free dock with your purchase, which is reported to be worth £34.99.
As you will by now know, the Motorola Xoom is a serious piece of kit. Inside you’ve got Android 3.0, 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, two cameras and a massive 10.1-inch display.
The device costs more to make than the original iPad and will, unfortunately, cost more than the original iPad as well.
We’re still waiting to see how other retailers, such as Dixons and Best Buy, will price the Xoom. Nonetheless, we can’t see it being any cheaper than this.
