Flick Fishing and Flight Control from Freeverse have sold a million copies on the App Store.
We all know that the iPhone has become an unexpected giant in the mobile games market, but breaking the seven-figure sales barrier is still an impressive feat. Flick Fishing was the first of Freeverse’s games to do so, although their newer smash hit Flight Control has since crossed that line too.
If anything, Flight Control’s achievement is even more impressive. Flick Fishing was released way back in last November, but Flight Control only appeared on the App Store in March, so it’s had much less time to rack up those sales.
Flight Control has been the game on people’s lips for the past few months, causing many a high score-obsessed gamer to cry out their personal bests on Twitter, Facebook and the occasional street corner.
Both games are available for 59p.
