Canon is one of the most trusted and respected brands in the photography space. Its DSLRs are pretty much the benchmark by which all other cameras are tested against, so when a company such as Canon begins gearing up to release two new DSLRs… people start to get excited.
We knew Canon was releasing two new DSLRs in 2016; we just didn’t know when they’d arrive or how much they’d cost. Thankfully, we now have answers to both those questions, as the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and Canon EOS 7D Mark II are now up for pre-order.
These are high-end shooters, however, so if you’re expecting to pay below $1000, look away now!
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV costs $3499 and can be pre-ordered now via Amazon. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will start shipping out to customers on September 8, with those that pre-ordered getting priority.
Meanwhile, the Canon EOS 7D Mark II will cost $1849 and will start shipping on October 31 — just in time for Halloween.
