Apple iOS 5 may be coming to the iPhone in April.
A leak from German Apple enthusiast site Macerkopf suggests the launch event will happen on either April 14 or 15.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed, the Apple iOS 5 update will hopfully bring some extra features, such as full multitasking (we can but dream) and improvements to notifications.
Other updates Macerkopf suggest includes “a closer link with MobileMe social services expected. Photo-Stream, Stream Media and Find my Friends are considered as keywords” (via Google Translate).
We’re hoping to see another update before the iPhone 5 is released in June/July. Taking these timelines into account, they match up nicely with Apple’s schedule of launches too.
