PC manufacturer Acer has confirmed that its Tempo F900 touchscreen handset will be getting a UK launch.
We first saw the F900 at MWC back in February but things have been largely quiet since then, but now with confirmation at least that we’ll be seeing it on our shores we can allow ourself to get the teeniest bit excited at seeing what the Taiwanese PC manufacturer has in store for us.
Certainly on paper the F900 packs a punch, with its 3.8-inch, 800×480 pixel touchscreen display, GPS, 3.75G connectivity, accelerometer and 3-megapixel camera.
The handset will be based on the traditional Windows Mobile 6.1 OS but will offer a tweaked Acer 2.0 UI to spruce things up a bit.
ElectricPig.co.uk has got the F900 pegged at £429, exact release date unannounced.
