Samsung has announced the Bada-powered Samsung Wave II S8530.
Judging from the picture, the Wave II looks very similar to its predecessor. However, Samsung maintains that it is a very different animal altogether.
The Samsung Wave II will feature a Super Clear LCD display instead of Super AMOLED, according to UberGizmo.
Additional specs include: HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, GPS support, TV out, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, HD video recording, a microSD memory card slot and a 1GHz processor.
The device gets a release in Germany next month for €429.
There’s no word on a UK release as yet, but we’re pretty confident it’ll make an appearance before the Christmas holidays get underway.
