O2’s pricing information for the Galaxy Tab has been released and it doesn’t make pleasant reading.
The UK based provider isn’t offering any subsidy on the high-tech gizmo, what’s more it has chosen to mark the device up at £70 more than other retailers.
Pricing is based upon O2’s range of mobile broadband prepay deals, but for those wishing to use the Galaxy Tab to make calls, it will also be offered with pre-pay and post-pay voice and data bundles.
So, for the princely sum of £599, you can buy a Galaxy Tab, which may or may not be locked to O2’s service for seventy sheets more than you can buy one sim-free. Sound like a bargain? We didn’t think so.
