Folders review

With more and more business users opting to blur the lines of work and play with their iPhones, security of data is becoming even more paramount.

With this app, business users can be safe in the knowledge that they can still squirrel away some documents – for use on the move – and password protect them from prying eyes.

Transferring files from a computer to the device or vice versa is a very simple process that makes use of a Wi-Fi connection to get the data from A to B. Unzipping is also made easy and helps speed up the transfer process.

Locking folder access and folder management is very simplistic and the app also enables users to import files from the web too with support for:

•    Audio (aac, mp3)
•    Images (bmp, gif, jpg, png)
•    Office (doc, excel, powerpoint)
•    Text (txt, PDF)
•    Video (m4v, mp4, mov)

The app is incredibly easy to get to grips but comes with an inbuilt user guide just in case. Although, all the buttons are very self explanatory so it’s unlikely many people will need to consult this document unless they want to try something particularly tricky.
