EA Sports’ Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is now live in the App Store for iPad and iPhone.
There is a brand new look and feel for the game graphically-speaking, as well as new game modes, new golfers and courses.
Also, the courses and golfers have been enhanced to take full advantage of the larger iPad screen, and Retina Display technology. Using Bluetooth or WiFi, you can even challenge your friends to a round of multiplayer golf.
New courses include Predator fantasy course and the Old White Course at Greenbrier, home of the Greenbrier Classic.
There is also a new ‘Tiger Challenge’ mode, which includes over 20 mini-game challenges so that you can earn money that can be used to participate in the PGA Tour events or upgrade to a custom golfer’s attributes, improving different aspects of their performance.
With skins, match play and other modes, along with new golfers such as Anthony Kim, Camilo Villegas, Paul Casey, Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson and Paula Creamer, it seems iPad golf has never been so good.
That’s not all the new additions. There is a Facebook challenge called ‘Closest to the Pin’, where you will be able to tee off and see how close you can get to the pin, ranking you amongst your Facebook friends on the leaderboards.
A free version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 will be available for the iPhone and iPod touch.
This version will allow you to play the “Closest to the Pin” Facebook Challenge, and also gives you three holes on the TPC Sawgrass course.
