The iPad 2 will cost £199 for Orange customers willing to sign up to a 24 month contract.
According to Recombu, Orange customers were offered the deal in an email and will have to shell out £25 per month for the tablet.
For £199, you’ll get a 16GB iPad 2 along with 1GB anytime data and 1GB data between midnight and 4PM.
The iPad 2 will launch at 5PM tomorrow, although preorders will begin at 1PM from the Apple website.
The 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 will cost £399, £30 cheaper than the original iPad cost when it went on sale a year ago.
The 32GB Wi-Fi only iPad will cost ££479, while the 64GB version will cost £559.
You can choose to upgrade to 3G on any of these capacities, although it will set you back an extra £100.
Orange is also hosting a competition to win an iPad 2 tomorrow. All you need to do is head to the Orange store on Great Marlborough Street between 4 and 4.30PM (round the corner from the Apple store on Regent Street) in your best iPad app outfit to be in with a chance of winning.
We’ve already reviewed the iPad 2, thanks to getting one shipped over soon after the US launch and here’s what we thought:
“By far one of the most impressive pre-installed applications is Safari. Compared with the original iPad, it whizzes through rendering and brings up the Know Your Mobile homepage in a couple of seconds, compared with the ten seconds we’re more accustomed to on the original iPad.
“Navigation itself seems so much smoother than with the previous iPad. Apple has injected its latest iOS 4.3 operating system to the iPad and a faster processor, making all operations complete faster.”
