Apple has released an update for its iOS4.3 platform. The update, known as iOS4.3.1, doesn’t bring any new features but takes care of some notable bugs and glitches that were present in iOS4.3.
The iOS4.3.1 update is now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users. To get it, simply plug your iPhone/iPod/iPad into your PC’s iTunes and update the software.
As we said, there are no new features aboard Apple’s iOS4.3.1 update. It’s more of a house keeping update, but is definitely worth downloading all the same.
Here’s a break down of what users can expect from iOS4.3.1, according to Pocket-Lint:
- Fixes graphics glitch on iPod Touch (forth generation).
- Fixes bugs related to activating and connecting to some mobile networks.
- Fixes image flicker when using Apple Digital AV Adapter with some TVs.
- Resolves an issue authenticating with some enterprise web services.
Obviously, this is good news for anyone that bought an iPad 2 over of the weekend as it ensures that your device is fully up-to-date.
