The LG Revolution has passed through FCC testing and should be getting an official announcement and release date in the near future.
The news comes via Limitless Droid and should be music to the ears of any user that is looking for a viable alternative to HTC’s premium-end smartphones.
Spec-wise, the LG Revolution features Android 2.2, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, as well as 5-megapixel camera on the rear and one on the front for video calling.
This device is remarkably similar to the HTC Thunderbolt. The only real difference being is that the LG Revolution won’t feature HTC’s Sense UI. Instead, it’ll feature stock Android 2.2.
Expect a release date around the end of April for the LG Revolution.
