A silver version of Sony Ericsson’s X2 handset has surfaced online, including a snapshot of the device’s vitals.
The pictures were posted over at jjlifeblog.wordpress.com and show the X1 successor in close up detail including an image that confirms the handset’s ARM processor, and shows 198MB of usable internal memory.
The X2 looks a fair bit like the X1 and retains the arc-slider form factor, but will feature Windows Mobile 6.5 instead of the 6.1 Professional edition. We’ve also heard rumours that the X2 will come with a healthy 8.1-megapixel camera.
Judging from these most recent pictures we also assume that you’ll be able to snap up the handset in the depicted silver colour, much like the original X1.
Solid specs and official announcements are nowhere to be found just yet, but if Sony Ericsson want to give this one an official announcement before the cat is well and truly out of the bag then we’d expecting to hear word from the London HQ in the next few weeks.
