T-Mobile has announced that the Android myTouch 3G, AKA the Magic will be available in the US from August.
To give the handset its full mouthful of a moniker, the myTouch 3G with Google, will feature the same specs as the Magic – meaning a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
The myTouch 3G looks almost identical to the Magic, bar the heavy emphasis on the “with Google” aspect of the handset.
And being an Android handset the myTouch 3G will come packing the full suite of Google goodies including the Mail, Calendar, Chat and Maps software.
The Magic has been available here for more than a month already but if you were hoping to pick up the handset on T-Mobile at home, you should know that Vodafone has secured it as an exclusive for the time-being.
If you want to get your hands on the he myTouch 3G you’ll need to hand over $199 of your heard-earned cash and sign a 2-year contract. According to TMOToday.com it will be available to pre-order from the 8th July, and should hit the shelves at the start of August.
