Adobe Flash 10 beta

Adobe Flash Player 10 will go live in beta form for selected smartphones in October of this year.

It’s been two years since Adobe first mentioned bringing its software to mobile devices but it seems that it is finally on the horizon.

The list of initially compatible OS’ will include Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile and Palm’s webOS, but two of big players are conspicuously missing from this list.

However, Flash 10 won’t support Apple and BlackBerry handsets.

It is, however, good news for the masses of qualifying owners that will finally be able to stream their favourite films on the move.
