The HTC Ozone has been announced by Verizon Wireless, the latest in a line of US operators to offer a variation of the HTC Snap.
Until now we’ve seen various versions of the Snap, with only minor aesthetic differences and keyboard layout changes to differentiate each network’s offering.
Like the previous guises, the Ozone will ship with a 2.4-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.1 and Bluetooth.
The handset is clearly designed to run with the BlackBerrys and E71s of the market so there are other high-end features on board too, such as CDMA connectivity, A-GPS and Wi-Fi
If you’re salivating already at the thought of the Ozone then you should be happy to hear that it will only set you back $50, after a $70 rebate and your John Hancock on the dotted line.
Whilst that’s all well and good for our American cousins it doesn’t bring us any closer to finding out if the Snap will be gracing the UK with its presence anytime soon. Stay tuned.
