T-Mobile has announced another Android-powered handset in the States, this time it’s the Android 2.2-powered MyTouch and while there’s no release date confirmed just yet, it’ll apparently hit the markets just in time for Christmas.
In terms of specs, the MyTouch is up there with the best of them featuring a 3.8-inch WVGA display, 5 megapixel primary camera with 720p capture, and a next-gen MSM8255 Snapdragon core running at 1GHz.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on a UK release date just yet but T-Mobile has confirmed that it’ll be hitting the US markets in time for the holiday season.
The MyTouch also comes with full support for T-Mobile’s up-and-coming HSPA+ network, as well as a front-facing camera that works over both Wi-Fi and 3G, so users will be able to video-call their friends practically anywhere.
The device also comes in a variety of colours (white, black, plum, and red) for the more style conscious users out there, which is a nice touch.
