HTC has started the rollout of Android 4.3 [and Sense 5.5] to its flagship HTC One. The update initially pegged for launch in September is a month late, but does add in plenty of new features.
Chief among them is the updated Sense 5.5 UX – the one that launched aboard the HTC One Max. BlinkFeed has been updated and adds in support for Google+, RSS and Instagram and, as an added bonus, you can now disable the feature entirely –– good news for those not sold on the concept.
“HTC Sense 5.5 won’t just bring improvements to Blinkfeed. HTC One owners can also expect to find improvements to the Camera and Gallery apps, added GIF support in HTC Zoe, a Do Not Disturb feature, and a new app called Scribble, which is designed for taking notes and doodling,” reports The Inquirer.
The update weighs in at 675MB and is available to download over the air using a Wi-Fi connection.
KYM’s HTC One has yet to receive the update, although reports suggest the software is now in the process of rolling out across the UK. Have you got yours yet? Tell us about it in the comments section below.
