Opera has confirmed that it will be bringing its full-fat Opera Browser to the Android platform.
Opera Mini has been available on a multitude of platforms for quite sometime now (even iOS!) but this will be the first fully-fledged version of Opera to been released onto a mobile platform.
According to reports, the full-fat Opera Browser will support hardware acceleration for massive frame rates and super-fast speeds, as well as pinch-to-zoom.
There will also be an Opera Mini update as well – although we don’t think anyone will care too much about that once Opera lands on the Android Market.
According to Engadget, Opera (full-fat) is expected to land on the Android Market sometime within the next month.
All versions of Android are also apparently supported, which is good news for anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck on Android 1.5 – ahh, bless em!
