Asus has previewed its Eee Pad Transformer at CeBIT, complete with Android 3.0 running.

According to ZDNet, the Honeycomb OS running still wasn’t final and therefore the keyboard didn’t function at all.

A bit disappointing as the keyboard is the USP for the Transformer and to be quite frank, the point of it.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer will be launched in April and features an Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU and a full keyboard attachment, transforming it into a netbook-like device.

The Transformer will cost around £340 for the 16G B3G version without the keyboard attachment up to £600.

The Eee Pad will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions.

Other tablets Asus will be launching in the coming months include the Eee Pad Memo and Eee Pad Slider. The latter features a sliding Qwerty keyboard while the memo is more compact.
