Acer has officially confirmed the Acer Liquid Metal – an 800MHz, Android 2.2-powered smartphone.
The Liquid Metal will be powered by Google’s Froyo OS and features the same Qualcomm 800MHz MSM7230 processor as the T-Mobile G2.
Other specs include: Wi-Fi b/g/n, 14Mbps-capable HSDPA and a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with face- and smile-detection, image stabilization, a flash and 720p HD video recording.
But that’s not all, Acer has also bundled in Dolby Surround sound, their Breeze UI replacement and SocialJogger Facebook and Twitter aggregator, as well as a trackwheel for faster navigation.
The Liquid Metal has a release date of November in the UK for the brown version and will be priced at £299.
A silver version will also be landing in early December though, if brown’s not your thing…
