Control the camera on the W850i with keypad shortcuts

You can activate the camera instantly using the camera button on the right-hand side of the phone

Ever wanted to take a photo with your Sony Ericsson W850i and seen the moment pass before you can thumb through the settings menu to switch the flash on, choose an image size or go into night mode?

You can activate the camera instantly using the camera button on the right-hand side of the phone. And you can immediately activate many of the W850i’s camera settings using shortcuts on the keypad:

Press 7 to activate night mode
Use * for the light
You can also use 1 to scroll through the image size options
3 and 6 to zoom in and out of an image
The move the navigation key up and down to adjust the brightness of a an image

There are also two small buttons either side of the speaker at the top of the phone. The left button scrolls through the four Shoot modes; the right button switches the light on and off.

Pressing 0 in camera mode displays these shortcuts for you.
