District 9 is this year’s must-see sci-fi action epic, coming from first-time director Neill Blomkamp and the man behind the Lord of the Rings movies, Peter Jackson. It’s a tale of accidental alien invasion as a mothership of the prawn-like extraterrestrials arrives on earth and ends up being herded into a huge ghetto, District 9.

It’s set to be one of the year’s top cult hits and could cement Blomkamp as a verified director to watch in coming years. This theme of the movie will give your Sony Ericsson phone a complete re-vamp, with new menus and backgrounds based around artwork from the film.

1. Download the file district9_w580.thm to your PC or Mac by clicking on the link below
2. Then use the supplied USB cable or set up a Bluetooth connection to transfer the theme file across to your Sony Ericsson W580i handset
3. You will them be prompted that a new theme has been received. Click on Set to install the theme
4. If you want to change the theme back simply go to the main menu, click on Settings then Display and then Themes and select the theme you want to change back to
