Ensure you have copied your address book onto the SIM

Make sure you always have your contacts to hand by making the most out of your W300i's address book

When upgrading from another phone ensure you have copied your address book onto the SIM.

Once this is done you can transfer your address book onto your new handset, simply follow these instructions.

  • Go to Menu
  • Address book (Figure 1)
  • Options (Figure 2)
  • Advanced (Figure 3) and scroll down to Copy from SIM (Figure 4)

You can then decide whether you want to copy all of your contacts or just one (Figure 5).

The address book can be easily access from the opening page using the default favourite of “navig key down” (pressing the down arrow on the ring). Find the name you want by using the keyboard letters.

Tip: An easy way to populate your address book is to do the following

  • Select Menu
  • Address book
  • Options
  • Advanced
  • Press Ask to Save (Figure 6)

Every time you make or receive a call you will be prompted to add that number to the address book.
