Using the Internet

The internet connection will start automatically and open your home page
Browse the world wide web with ease via your Sony Ericsson W300i
Go to:
- Main menu
- Internet browser (Figure 1)
The internet connection will start automatically and open your home page, which may be the network supplier's home page (Figure 2).
The top right button will be reading More and this is where the clever stuff lives.
The options are:
Go to (Figure 3)
- Bookmarks – add the current Web page to your bookmarks list, or access an existing bookmark (Figure 4).
- Enter address – enter a Web page address.
- History – list of previously visited sites.
Tools
- Add bookmark – add the current page to the bookmark list (Figure 5)
- Save picture
- Save page
- Refresh (Figure 6)
- Send link
- Make a call – if your provider account lets you, you can use this to make a phone call while browsing (Figure 7)
View (Figure 8)
- Full screen
- Text only (Figure 9)
- Zoom – zoom in or out on a Web page (Figure 10)
Advanced
- Smart-Fit – adjust the Web page to your display to avoid horizontal scrolling The Default is ON (Figure 11)
- Show pictures – turn this off to load pages more quickly
- Show animations – turn this off to load pages more quickly
- Play sounds – turn this off to load pages more quickly (Figure 12)
- JavaScript – turn this off to load pages more quickly
- Allow cookies – settings for Web page info for quicker access when re-visiting Web pages (Figure 13)
Press the right navig key to see the second menu (Figure 14)
- Clear cookies, Clear cache, Clear passwords, Status – display current status, for example, profile, access type, security or address.
