Setting up Internet access on the W300i
John Murphy
If you have your W300i on a contract this should already be configured to your network supplier's pages and may be difficult to change
We show you how to set up Internet access on your W300i mobile phone - whether its pay-as-you-go or contract
Setting up the Phone’s Internet features is very simple. If you are using a pay as you go log onto http://www.sonyericsson.com on your computer. Follow the links to support for your country.
Click on the link for the service you want to set up and follow the wizard. It will ask you for your internet service provider and other details selected from drop down menus and will send you a SMS message. Open the message and the settings are transferred to your phone.
If you have your W300i on a contract this should already be configured to your network supplier's pages and may be difficult to change. If the phone does not come with these settings in place you will need an account with a mobile internet provider who will provide the right settings.
This can be done by:
- Selecting menu
- Settings
- Connectivity
- Data comms
- New account
- Enter your settings.
Settings will vary according to your provider.
Once done:
- Select menu
- Settings
- Connectivity
- Internet settings
- Select that data account to be used for Internet connections.
