Use keypad shortcuts on the Sony Ericsson K800i

Keypad shortcuts can be used for one-click access to different functions on the phone or to quickly access menus on the K800i
Shortcuts on the K800i can be accessed using the central navigation key under the K800i’s screen, or by pressing keypad buttons to access corresponding menus on the screen.
Central Navigation Key
On the default setting, the navigation key can be used to access Write New Message (Left), Music Player (Up) or Contacts (Down). There is no default setting for pressing Right. However these can be changed to suit your preferences:
- From the Menu screen, select Settings
- On the General tab, scroll down to Shortcuts
- To change each navigation key shortcut, highlight the one you want to change and press Edit
- Choose which function you want to choose from the Menu screen and press Shortcut
Keypad Shortcuts
The Sony Ericsson K800i also uses keypad shortcuts when browsing the menu screen. The 12 functions on this screen correspond to one of the 12 buttons on the keypad. For example to access Contacts, press the ‘8’ key.
