Sony has posted a video of the Xperia Z being constructed, with every little piece meticulously screwed and soldiered right before your eyes

Want to know how Sony manufactures the Sony Xperia Z? The company has released a video showing just that.

The video showcasing how the Xperia Z, a Handycam camcorder and Sony Cyber-Shot RX1 camera are all manufactured was shown to press at Sony's CES press conference where the devices were announced and it's available for you to view on YouTube.

In just five minutes, a Sony Xperia Z goes from thousands of tiny components to one final product, which supposedly will turn on too.

The Sony Xperia Z is the latest device to join Sony's Android smartphone lineup and is submersible in water for up to 30 minutes.

It's super-slim at just 7.9mm with a 1080p Sony Bravia Engine 2 display, quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

The Xperia Z's 13-megapixel camera features Sony's Exmor RS sensor and is capable of shooting HDR full HD video, which is certainly something of a feat.
