We review Tube Map, a London Underground map application
Tube Map is a full underground application for the iPhone

The London Underground network is an amazing creation. But it’s also a complex beast, made tamer thanks to this iPhone app.
The first screen asks you to provide some details about yourself (gender, age and home station) but you don’t have to give this if you don’t want to and can simply skip that screen and move on.
Our default station was set to Oxford Circus and, on skipping the request for info screen, we were taken straight to a colourful tube map with a vibrant menu underneath. Changing the default home station is very easy from within the settings menu.
You simply move around the tube map using your finger. It really is that easy.
This app is great for tourists, but equally as useful for people who live in or near London just trying to find their easiest route home, thanks to the inbuilt route planner.
You can also click on the lines icon to get real time information about whether the Central line has delays or the District line has engineering works and so on.
This app saves you the hassle and time of having to try and get a look-in at the always-crowded tube maps in stations and means you can be much more discreet about not knowing where the hell you are.
